Two Dead, One Missing After Strong Currents Sweep Swimmers Off Moroccan Coast

The bodies of two young men were found on Sunday on the beach of Douira, in the province of Chtouka Aït Baha. The victims disappeared at sea on Saturday, after being swept away by strong currents.
The two young men, aged 16 and 28, are from Aït Melloul and Inezgane, reports Alyaoum24. The sea washed up their bodies on Sunday on the Douira beach. The victims, as well as two other young people, were swept away on Saturday by a strong current while swimming.
A 14-year-old girl was able to be saved. As for the fourth person, he is still missing. Alerted, the local authorities, the Royal Gendarmerie and the civil protection rushed to the scene. An investigation has been opened to shed light on this tragedy. The bodies of the victims were transferred to the morgue.
