Mystery Surrounds Deaths of Two Men Found in Agadir Apartment

On Friday, the lifeless bodies of two young men in their thirties were discovered in a rental apartment in the Lagouira neighborhood in downtown Agadir. It was an unpleasant odor coming from the victims’ apartment that prompted residents of the neighborhood to alert the local authorities and the national security services, we are told. Upon arrival, they discovered the bodies of the two young men. They would have been dead for several days. On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the bodies of the victims were transported to the morgue of the Hassan II regional hospital center.
What happened in this apartment? Several sources suggest the hypothesis of carbon monoxide poisoning, as a "charcoal brazier" was found near the bodies. An investigation has been opened by the competent authorities to shed light on this tragedy.
