Two young men managed to swim to the shore, while three others remained clinging to the boat until the arrival of the rescue services. Alerted, the local authorities, the civil protection elements and the royal gendarmerie went to the scene. The bodies of the two victims were recovered and transferred to the morgue. An investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances of the accident.
