Dakhla Airport Sees 20% Surge in Passenger Traffic, Ranks 9th in Morocco

The 2018 fiscal year was prosperous for the Dakhla Airport, which saw a 20.23% increase in user movement, or 202,645 passengers.
The data just published by the National Airports Office (ONDA) shows an increase of 20.23% in passenger traffic in 2018, corresponding to 202,645 passengers compared to 168,552 travelers the previous year.
This feat represents 1.02% of the total air traffic during the same period, across all Moroccan airports, or 1,624,451 passengers. With this rate, Dakhla Airport ranks 9th.
The first five months of 2019 recorded a 30.09% increase, or 101,757 more passengers than in 2018, with 78,220 passengers, ONDA also indicates.
