A traffic of various goods valued at more than 3.64 million dirhams (MDH) was prevented by the customs elements stationed at the port of Tanger-Med.
It was the search of a utility vehicle registered in Belgium that allowed the elements of the Customs and Indirect Taxes Administration (ADII) to seize the various goods.
The driver of the vehicle is a Moroccan residing in Spain. He was trying to introduce these goods into Moroccan territory without prior declaration to the ADII. These include, among other things, 120 kilograms of silver jewelry, about 30,000 beauty products, 315 new clothes and 75 kilograms of almonds, reports le360.
