A currency trafficking of more than 40,000 euros was thwarted on Monday by the customs services at the port of Tanger Med.
The sum was discovered by the elements on duty at the port of Tanger Med, on a Moroccan residing in Spain, who was trying to bring it into the national territory without having an authorization from the Customs and Indirect Taxes Administration (ADII), said the Moroccan customs.
The currencies were hidden in the glove compartment of a car registered abroad, the same source specifies, stating that the person involved in this currency trafficking had told customs that he did not have any goods or sums of money to declare.
