Criminal Gang Arrested in Morocco: Five Suspects Linked to Armed Robbery Network

Five individuals, including two girls and a minor, suspected of being linked to a criminal network operating in thefts under the threat of a knife, were arrested on Thursday evening by the Judicial Police Service of Settat.
The suspects were apprehended by the Judicial Police, during an operation carried out jointly with the services of the Royal Gendarmerie.
According to the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the identification of the accused revealed that one of them was wanted by the security services of Marrakech and Benguerir, for his involvement in cases of qualified theft and kidnapping.
The suspects, on board a rental vehicle, put up fierce resistance during their arrest and refused to comply with the summons of the law enforcement agencies. In their attempt to flee, they caused a traffic accident in which a minor was injured.
The adult defendants were taken into custody and the minor is under control, at the disposal of the investigation opened to determine all the criminal acts they are accused of.
