Cracks Emerge in Tangier’s $30 Million Coastal Promenade, One Year After Completion

Cracks have appeared on the ground of the Gueznaia corniche, in the outskirts of Tangier, built at great expense only a year ago.
These cracks were observed on the ground of the corniche overlooking the Sidi Qassim beach, near Tangier International Airport, reports Al3omk, deploring the appearance of these deformations only a year after the completion of this infrastructure.
The project, which cost 300 million dirhams, was carried out as part of the green space development and urban planning program of the Gueznaia municipality, with a total amount of 700 million dirhams.
The work had been carried out under the supervision of the governor of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, the Agency for the Development and Revitalization of the Northern Regions and the municipality of Gueznaia.
