COVID-19 Outbreak at Moroccan National Broadcaster: 20 Cases Detected

Since the deconfinement carried out in Morocco, about twenty cases of Covid-19 infection have been recorded at the National Broadcast and Television Company (SNRT) out of the 2,041 tests carried out. These cases do not cause concern at the national level in view of the daily health statistics in Morocco.
These 20 active cases are regularly monitored by the health authorities, reassures the management of the SNRT. To date, the group maintains that these cases do not make the National Broadcast and Television Company (SNRT) "a pandemic cluster". It also specifies that its staff has always been committed during the pandemic, despite the risks, to carry out public service missions by informing the population on a daily basis about the evolution of the epidemiological situation.
Moreover, it has also been involved in raising public awareness of the dangers of the pandemic. It did not fail to invite them to respect the preventive measures to contain the pandemic.
It also specified that within the SNRT, the managers ensure the application of the same measures in order to protect all the staff at the central and regional levels. It also recalls that all its staff participated in the screening tests. In addition, a strict health protocol has been imposed on the staff in the various central and regional services.
