COVID-19 Outbreak at Casablanca Clinic: 23 Staff Infected, One Death Reported

Panic in a private clinic in the city of Casablanca, where all staff had to be tested for Covid-19, after the infection of several of them.
It was the appearance of symptoms among the executives that raised the alarm. The clinic decided to screen its entire staff, i.e. 200 people, reports the daily Al Akhbar. 23 people tested positive. A senior manager of a department died of Covid-19 shortly after being infected. The information is kept secret and the patients are moved to the Moulay Youssef hospital in the same city, for proper care.
The causes of the contamination remain unknown and among the staff, it is panic. Since the beginning of the pandemic, many health workers have been infected by the new coronavirus. This situation is of concern to the WHO, which calls on the sense of responsibility of the leaders of health centers. They must ensure the health and well-being of health personnel in the workplace. It is a priority and a responsibility.
