Construction Begins on Royal Mansour Luxury Hotel in Morocco’s Capital Rabat

The French company Bouygues has started the construction of the Royal Mansour hotel in Rabat, which will be the most luxurious hotel in the Moroccan capital.
The work on the Royal Mansour in Rabat has been launched on the banks of the Bouregreg River. The luxury hotel will be built on a site located near the Grand Théâtre de Rabat, facing the majestic Tour Mohammed VI. The work will be completed within three years, sources told Rue20.
The Royal Mansour, owned by King Mohammed VI, is already present in Marrakech and Casablanca. This third establishment of the chain will help strengthen Rabat’s hotel capacity, in terms of 5-star hotels.
Several hotels of this standing are under construction in the capital. This is the case of the Sheraton hotel, located opposite the United Arab Emirates embassy, whose construction is progressing rapidly, or the Four Seasons hotel, located on the Atlantic coast, which should open its doors in early 2024.
The "Le Carrousel" hotel, also located on the Atlantic coast of Rabat, and its large shopping center, should start its activities next year. In a few months, the construction of the "Morocco Mall", the largest shopping center in the capital, will also start next to the Royal Mansour. It will be delivered at the end of 2028.
