Moroccan Royal Hotel Named World's Most Welcoming in 2024 Rankings

A luxurious Moroccan hotel has received the award for the most welcoming hotel in the world. It is an establishment designed by King Mohammed VI.

Opened in 2010, the Royal Mansour Marrakech is the world’s most welcoming hotel in 2024 by The World’s Best Hotels. The establishment was awarded the "Art of Hospitality" prize this year, rewarding the exceptional hospitality of the establishment, after the 600 voters of The World’s 50 Best Hotels Academy were invited to name the hotel establishment in which they had the best experience during the 18 months of the voting period. Voters were asked to take into account the atmosphere created in the hotel, the provision of unique experiential elements and the warm spirit of the hospitality offered.

The Royal Mansour Marrakech is a private 6-hectare estate located in the heart of Marrakech, just steps from the famous Jemaa El Fna square. It offers a unique hotel experience combining tradition and modernity. The establishment is described as a "benchmark for luxury hotels" thanks to its "exceptional" hospitality and attention to detail, reports CNN, specifying that its 53 riads are scattered throughout lush gardens and feature traditional architecture, created by local artisans. "By offering each guest their own private palace and personal butler, the Royal Mansour Marrakech embodies the art of hospitality," says Emma Sleight, head of the World’s 50 Best Hotels list.

Jean-Claude Messant, general manager of the Royal Mansour collection, expresses his pride and dedicates the award to the hotel’s "fantastic" team, who work to maintain an impeccable level of service.
