CNOPS Streamlines Health Insurance Registration and Updates for Moroccan Beneficiaries

The National Fund for Social Welfare Organizations (CNOPS) has implemented various measures to simplify the procedures for registering insured persons and facilitate the updating of their personal data and the declaration of their dependents.
Thus, newly registered insured persons will have, as of January 31 next, a new registration card containing elements of their identification (photo, AMO registration number and affiliation to the Mutual and CINE number), according to a CNOPS press release.
This card will no longer be renewed with the services of the Fund and the Mutual Societies on the occasion of the updating of the insured person’s personal data or the declaration of his/her dependents (marriage, birth, etc.), the note specifies.
As for the already insured citizens, they are invited to check the status of their coverage, and that of their dependents, on the website www.cnops.org.ma, before filing any sickness file or request for coverage, knowing that the admitted care providers in third-party payment have an online service to verify the status of the rights of the AMO-public sector beneficiaries before addressing their coverage requests, the same source points out.
The third measure concerns the launch of an online service dedicated to the insured, allowing them to remotely submit requests to update their administrative data and declare their spouses and children, the note concludes.
