Civil Guard Seizes 90 Kilos of Cocaine at Tarifa Port, Bound for Morocco

Civil Guard agents at the port of Tarifa seized 90 kilos of cocaine hidden in a car about to board a ferry to Tangier on Saturday. The two occupants of the vehicle, of Moroccan nationality, were detained.
The drug, hidden in hidden compartments in the trunk and rear seats of the car, was discovered by the Civil Guard agents, reports Europa Sur. In total, 90 cocaine slabs weighing about one kilo each were seized. The packaging featured an image of the protagonist of the film Scarface, played by Al Pacino, who plays the role of a ruthless drug baron.
Accused of offenses against public health, the driver and passenger of the vehicle, of Moroccan nationality and holders of a residence permit in Spain, were detained pending trial.
