Civil Guard Seizes 24 Stolen European Luxury Cars Bound for Morocco at Spanish Port

The Civil Guard seized 24 stolen vehicles from various European countries at the port of Tarifa as they were about to be shipped to Morocco. In total, 13 people were arrested.
The agents made this discovery last month, after conducting an operation in the vehicle control area of the port of Tarifa, the Civil Guard reported in a note. The 24 vehicles stolen in Germany, France, Belgium, Italy and the Netherlands had false license plates and false documents, reports La Voz Digital.
According to the agents of the Tax Analysis and Investigation Office who intercepted them, these high-end vehicles were about to be transported to Tangier, Morocco. The Civil Guard seized these vehicles, including two Audi models worth a total of more than 160,000 euros, stolen in Italy from a German company.
After an investigation, the armed institute also found outside the port area a BMW Series 3 hybrid car, stolen in France and valued at more than 95,000 euros. All these vehicles have been returned to their countries of origin to be returned to their respective owners. In total, 13 people were arrested and 13 others were investigated for the offenses of theft, receiving stolen goods, forgery and use of forged documents.
