Civil Guard Arrests Moroccan Minor Found Hidden in Truck Entering Spain
The Civil Guard of Córdoba arrested a Moroccan minor who had traveled under a truck from Morocco to try to illegally enter Spain.
The truck driver alerted the Operations Center of the Civil Guard services, after hearing noises coming from inside the truck trailer, the Armed Institute reports in a statement. A patrol on duty in the area went to the driver who had parked the truck in a parking lot, reports Córdoba Hoy.
The driver explained to the agents that during a stop, he had heard noises coming from inside the trailer and wanted to find out the origin. After inspecting the trailer, the agents found that it showed no damage and bore three seals of guarantee, two from the Moroccan authorities and one from the Algeciras customs service.
They then opened the trailer and found the minor inside. The latter said he had boarded in a parking lot in Morocco in order to illegally enter Spain. The young man was taken to the local health center for examination, before being handed over to the immigration brigade of the national police.
