Medical equipment and supplies. This is the composition of China’s medical aid to Morocco. This gesture from China is part of the good cooperative and friendly relations that characterize the two countries. It comes to reinforce the many efforts deployed by the kingdom to fight against the coronavirus.
The Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs spoke on the phone last Friday with his Chinese counterpart and other Foreign Ministers from several countries on the necessary means to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.
It was agreed that the cooperation between China and the kingdom will focus on medical equipment to fight the coronavirus, and possibly extend, depending on the evolution of the seriousness of the situation in Morocco, to the expertise of Chinese doctors.
To come to the aid of Italy, the country most affected by the coronavirus, with thousands of deaths, China has sent a plane of medical supplies and experts. In a spirit of solidarity, it has also committed to making available to the European Union 200,000 surgical masks, 200,000 respirators and 50,000 test kits to fight the Coronavirus.
