Morocco Sends Cargo Plane to China for Vital COVID-19 Medical Supplies

A cargo plane from Royal Air Maroc took off in the night from Saturday, March 21 to Sunday, March 22, heading to China to load a large quantity of medical equipment and devices intended for the fight against the coronavirus epidemic.
The plane, a Boeing 767-300 dedicated exclusively to cargo activity, will have to make a direct flight to Beijing, lasting 15 hours.
In this regard, the Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Wang Li, had inquired about the situation in Morocco with his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita, stating that his country sympathizes with the populations of the world and intends to lend a hand to countries in distress.
China, he said, is determined to assist states in their fight against the coronavirus virus, through the establishment of "green channels" that could allow the rapid delivery of the necessary medical equipment and devices.
