China Donates Medical Supplies to Morocco in COVID-19 Fight
China has donated medical equipment to Morocco to support it in its fight against the coronavirus. This donation was transported by four different flights.
On China Arab TV, the Moroccan ambassador to China, Aziz Mekouar, said that Xi Jinping’s country is providing great support to the kingdom in its fight against covid-19. According to the Moroccan diplomat, Morocco has mobilized resources to acquire medical equipment and devices in China.
He specifies that videoconferences have been organized between health experts from the two countries, to share their expertise and benefit from Beijing’s experience in the fight against the pandemic. Similarly, discussions are still ongoing between the two countries regarding a study on the evolution of the epidemic, the ambassador said.
In addition to the issue related to the spread of the new coronavirus, Aziz Mekouar indicates that Morocco and China maintain close cooperation focused on trade and other sectors of activity.
