A sting from a venomous scorpion has just taken the life of a child, in the Azilal region, and more precisely in the Douar Bouhrazen. This tragedy happened on Monday. The lack of an antidote is also involved in this case...
Indeed, according to Alyaoum24, the child was taken alive to the hospital but the latter did not have serum against the scorpion venom. He therefore could not receive the necessary first aid and the time factor was fatal.
The source also mentions something else. At the hospital, they would have asked the child’s father "to carry him, and to walk with him several kilometers under a scorching heat in order to take him to the Azilal hospital", as written by AlYaoum24. And that’s what the father did...
But, after 5 hours of walking, when they arrived at the hospital, it was already too late. The doctors were unable to save the child.
