Chelsea’s Ziyech Shines Against Tottenham, Scores in 2-0 Premier League Victory

On Sunday at Stamford Bridge, it was an impressive Hakim Ziyech who revealed himself during the match that pitted Chelsea against Tottenham for the 23rd round of the English football championship. The final score was (2-0) for the Atlas Lion and his teammates.
Excluded from the CAN by Vahid Halilhodzic, Hakim Ziyech had said he would focus on his international career. He gave a glimpse of this commitment against Tottenham, by opening the scoring in the 47th minute of play. Less than 10 minutes later, Thiago Silva, through a combination of actions with Mason Mount, increased the score, giving the Blues a comfortable lead.
The opening goal earned the Moroccan player the enthusiastic applause of the "Bridge" followed by the warm congratulations of Thomas Tuchel, when he was substituted in the 91st minute. The score remained unchanged until the final whistle.
Thanks to this victory (2-0), the reigning European champions have 47 points, just behind Liverpool (48 points), who won the same day against Crystal Palace (3-1). Manchester City is still leading the way with 57 points.
