Chelsea Blocks Ziyech’s PSG Move Despite Player’s Willingness to Self-Fund Transfer
While Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech was willing to make a huge sacrifice for his transfer to PSG, Chelsea thwarted the transaction. The attacking midfielder of the English club will reluctantly return to Stamford Bridge.
It will be difficult for Hakim Ziyech to get over the failure of his transfer to PSG. He will have tried everything. In vain. After successfully passing his medical examination, he was only waiting for the official announcement of his loan. But the wait was endless. In the aftermath, the 29-year-old player "had offered to pay with his own money so that the deal would be concluded," reveals a source within Chelsea to Scottish journalist Jim White of talkSPORT. In vain. The English club thwarted the transfer.
The former Ajax star will have to join Stamford Bridge, against his will. He will have to wait until the end of the season before hoping to leave the London club.
