Champions League Draw: PSG’s Hakimi to Face Bayern’s Mazraoui in Round of 16 Clash

Following the draw for the Champions League round of 16, Gad Elmaleh’s Achraf Hakimi PSG drew Bayern Munich’s Noussair Mazroui. A real duel in prospect between two Atlas Lions.
The ceremony took place this Monday in Nyon, Switzerland. Second in his group despite a total of 14 points, PSG had every chance of falling on a big one in the round of 16. The draw pitted them against Bayern Munich’s Noussair Mazraoui. An opponent that Hakimi and his teammates know well for having faced them eleven times in the Champions League, notably in the 2020 final, lost (0-1) on a goal from Kingsley Coman.
Meanwhile, Hakim Ziyech’s Chelsea will have to eliminate Borussia Dortmund to ensure a place in the quarter-finals of the European tournament.
This draw also reserved a remake of the last Champions League final with a clash between Liverpool and the defending champion, Real Madrid. The first leg matches will take place on February 14, 15, 21 and 22, the return matches will take place on March 7, 8, 14 and 15.
