Casablanca’s New Tramway Lines Reach 65% Completion, Rails Being Laid

The construction of the T3 and T4 tramway lines in Casablanca has reached a progress rate of 65%, according to Casa Transport.
In a progress report on the project, Casa Transport announced that the construction of the infrastructure for the third and fourth tramway lines in Casablanca is progressing rapidly. These works started on February 23, 2021.
Specifically, the major works of the second phase, which correspond to the construction of the railway platform, have reached 71% completion by the end of April. At the same time, the company has already laid 19 km of rails.
Regarding the third phase related to facade-to-facade development works, it has reached a progress rate of 26% by the end of last April. It involves the renovation of the road network, the rehabilitation of sidewalks and the renovation of underground stormwater drainage networks.
