Casablanca Tram Company Seeks Justice After Employees Assaulted by Fare Evaders

Two station agents were assaulted at the Aïn Sebâa station last week. Casa Tramway, based on the CCTV images, filed a complaint for the damages and harm suffered by these two employees.
In a press release, Casa Tramway indicates that the incident occurred because the two guards tried to prevent two young people who had jumped over the station barriers from using the tram without having any travel tickets.
Casa Tramway is outraged by the interpretation that has been made of this unfortunate event on social networks. "Faced with this situation, all the more unacceptable as a video has been circulating in recent days on the Internet, where a young man claims to have been assaulted by the Casa Tramway station agents, RATP Dev Casablanca, the operator of the Casablanca tramway, is filing a complaint for assault on agents in the performance of their duties and for defamatory remarks against Casa Tramway disseminated on the Internet".
Witnesses attested that the two agents were actually assaulted and that things did not happen as claimed in the video circulating on social networks.
