Casablanca Introduces Contactless Payment for Public Transport Tickets

Casa Transports wants to reduce the process of paying at automatic ticket vending machines. It plans to offer its customers a fairly simple method to pay or recharge their travel pass using their contactless bank card, starting at 6 dhs.
Casa Transport is innovating in public transport with contactless electronic payment. It is available on more than 270 automatic ticket vending machines (DTT). According to the company, this option is activated as soon as the second tramway line in Casablanca is put into service.
To recall, the Tramway network has been a pioneer since 2012 in tramway travel passes: rechargeable cards, subscription cards or even single tickets, which have all been equipped with this technology from the outset, allowing it to control and provide quick and easy access to the tramway stations.
