Fatal Tram Collision in Casablanca: Motorcyclist Killed at Station

A motorcyclist lost his life on Wednesday, August 26, after being hit by a tram at the Oqba Ibnou Nafie station in Casablanca.
The victim succumbed to his injuries at the local hospital after being transferred there. In a statement posted on social media, Casa Tramway indicated that the tragedy occurred because the victim did not respect the highway code.
It also announced the gradual resumption of traffic, after a thirty-minute interruption. Pending the restoration of the situation "as soon as possible and under safe conditions", the company specifies that the temporary terminus will be Hay Mohammadi.
