Contrary to rumors reporting the death of the police officer injured during the pre-match, WAC-RCA, the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) provides a formal denial.
A police officer "was seriously injured following an accidental fall and was taken to Ibn Rochd hospital to receive the necessary care," said the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) in a statement. The same source specifies that his state of health is still under surveillance.
While trying to secure part of the stands during the match between Wydad and Raja, on Saturday, October 2 in Casablanca, the police officer was seriously injured.
The match ended in a draw (1-1).
