New Casablanca-Rabat highway: here is the delivery date and the selected companies

Scheduled to start in 2026, this structuring project aims for a quick delivery with a completion time set at 30 months. The objective is to provide an alternative to the current coastal highway, often saturated, by creating a more fluid and secure "inland" link between the two capitals.

To carry out this colossal project, the route has been divided into nine distinct lots, awarded to leading Moroccan companies (Mojazine, El Hallaoui, Jet Contractors, SEPROB) as well as Chinese giants (China Railway, China Road and Bridge Corporation).

Here are the main sections and the amounts invested:

• The exit from Casablanca (Rocade - Oued El Maleh): entrusted to the company Mojazine for 653 million dirhams.

• The central sections (Oued Cherrat - Oued Ykem): will see the collaboration of Chinese and local companies for more than 1.3 billion dirhams in total.

• The engineering structures: Jet Contractors and SEPROB will be responsible for the strategic bridges over the Hassar and Cherrat wadis, for a total exceeding 850 million dirhams.

This new network will not only serve to save time: it will also have to connect the rural and urban areas of the continental axis, thus stimulating the economic dynamics of the entire region.
