Casablanca Police Arrest Man for Online Calls to Violence and Vandalism

The elements of the prefectural service of the judicial police of Casablanca proceeded, on Thursday, to the arrest of an individual in Casablanca. He would have incited to hatred, murder and the vandalization of public property through the publication on social networks.
It all started with the publications disseminated on the web. In these publications, the defendant was making the apology of the crime against certain categories of people, indicates a press release from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN). These calls for murder are intended to undermine public order.
According to the DGSN, the operation carried out by the judicial police services on the ground made it possible to identify the accused.
Arrested, he was placed in custody for the needs of the investigation.
