Moroccan Police Arrest Fugitive with Multiple Warrants in Nador

A 31-year-old individual with multiple criminal records was arrested on Wednesday. He is the subject of several nationwide wanted notices.
The operation, carried out jointly with the judicial police brigade of the provincial security district of Nador and the services of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), led to the arrest of the suspect in the "Lahouissia" district, near the town of Al Aroui, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
Furthermore, the search operation based on the database of wanted persons revealed that the defendant is the subject of several nationwide wanted notices for drug trafficking, attempted murder, possession of firearms, assault and battery, and threats with a bladed weapon.
As for the searches carried out at the suspect’s home, they led to the seizure of a homemade pistol, as well as five shotgun cartridges and three mobile phones.
For the needs of the investigation, the individual was placed in custody.
