Moroccan Police Arrest Wanted 33-Year-Old with Extensive Criminal Record in Nador

The judicial police brigade of the Nador security district arrested on Friday morning, in coordination with its counterpart at the Beni Ensar Police Station, an individual with multiple criminal records.
An individual with multiple criminal records was arrested on Friday in Nador for his alleged involvement in the formation of a criminal gang, possession of firearms, as well as drug and psychotropic trafficking and assault with a bladed weapon.
According to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the defendant, aged 33, was arrested in a house located in a rural area 30 km from Beni Ensar.
According to the DGSN, this arrest follows the arrest warrant issued against him nationwide in the context of 33 various criminal cases, ranging from cocaine trafficking and possession of firearms, to the formation of a criminal gang and knife attacks.
As part of these same cases, the search operations made it possible to apprehend three other individuals, aged 19 to 37, suspected of being linked to these crimes, including a repeat offender and two other people wanted nationwide.
In addition, the searches carried out at the home occupied by the suspects made it possible to seize 105 grams of cocaine, bladed weapons, a car bearing false license plates and a sum of money that should come from these criminal activities. For the needs of the investigation, the accused were taken into custody.
