Casablanca’s Mohammed V Stadium Closes for Month-Long Turf Renovation

The local development company Casa Events, manager of the Mohammed V Complex in Casablanca, has decided to close the stadium to treat its lawn, which is apparently in a deplorable state.
These works will last more than a month, informs Al Massae, which specifies that the lawn will be reinforced with new seeds to allow it to withstand the matches that will be played this winter, especially since the stadium will be very busy with the matches of the two Casablanca clubs in Botola and the African Champions League.
In the meantime, the manager has asked Wydad and Raja to find stadiums to host their opponents during the 11th and 12th matchdays of the Botola Pro scheduled for next Friday and Tuesday.
It is because of the state of the lawn that the federation decided to relocate the match between Morocco and Guinea Conakry to the Moulay Abdellah complex in Rabat, the newspaper points out.
