The large stadium in Tangier will host in November two matches of the Liberian national football team counting for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has responded favorably to its Liberian counterpart, who requested Morocco to host its international matches. The stadium in Monrovia does not meet the criteria of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
To this end, Liberia’s last two World Cup 2022 qualifiers, which will pit them against Nigeria and the Central African Republic, will be played in Morocco, specifically at the large stadium in Tangier, on November 11 and 15.
