African Nations Turn to Morocco for World Cup Qualifier Venues

The month of November will be no rest for the Moroccan stadiums called upon to host matches counting towards the 2022 World Cup qualifiers in the African zone.
Morocco has become a host country for several African countries whose stadiums are under renovation or do not meet the standards imposed by FIFA and CAF. Since the 3rd round of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, Moroccan stadiums have been constantly in demand. In addition to the two matches of the Atlas Lions, respectively against Sudan and Guinea, other matches will take place in Morocco this November.
In group A, Burkina Faso will host Niger at the Grand Stade de Marrakech. Guinea Bissau will face Sudan in the same stadium. In Tangier, Liberia will host Nigeria and the Central African Republic, while the Mali-Uganda match will be held at the Grand Stade d’Agadir.
