Morocco Coach Halilhodzic Aims for Perfect World Cup Qualifying Record

After successfully qualifying the Atlas Lions for the playoff match, Vahid Halilhodzic hopes to win the last two matches counting for the 5th and 6th rounds of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. The coach intends to achieve a flawless run.
With four consecutive victories, the Atlas Lions were able to secure their ticket for the playoff match. But for the coach, qualification for this stage should not serve as an excuse for poor performance, notes Vahid Halilhodzic, inviting on Instagram, Achraf Hakimi and his teammates to work for victory. "Of course, we are qualified for the playoffs, but the objective for these two matches remains victory," he wrote.
This Friday, Morocco faces Sudan at the Moulay Abdellah Complex in Rabat. The match will be refereed by Kenyan Peter Waweru Kamaku and his compatriots Gilbert Kipkoech, Kuria Samuel.
The second match is scheduled for November 16, and it will be against Guinea Conakry at the Mohammed V Complex in Casablanca. The refereeing trio is composed of Joshua Bondo, Juste Kokolo and Kitso Sibanda.
