Morocco Aims to Clinch World Cup Qualifier Spot Against Guinea in Crucial Match

Morocco faces Guinea this Tuesday at the Prince Moulay Abdellah sports complex in Rabat. In case of victory, the Atlas Lions definitively validate their ticket for the World Cup Qatar 2022 playoffs.
After his double victory against Guinea Bissau, for the third round of the qualifiers, the Moroccan national team only needs a victory to secure its qualification for the final phase of the 2022 World Cup Qatar qualifiers. And this is the goal targeted by Vahid Halilhodzic’s protégés who face Guinea in Rabat this Tuesday. Achraf Hakimi and his teammates are determined to win this decisive match. And in case of victory, they will take the lead in Group I with 12 points and will be definitively qualified for the play-offs.

For the national coach, Vahid Halilhodzic, the morale of the players is good. "With zero goals conceded and 10 goals scored, I am satisfied with the performance of the players which is improving, both in defense and in attack," he told the press after a training session at the Mohammed VI football complex in Maâmora. And to add: "We will try to be more efficient and improve our level, especially with the arrival of certain players who have brought more to the group".

Vahid Halilhodzic also specifies that this match against Guinea requires maximum concentration in order to win the three points of victory. In this dynamic, he plans not to start certain players who have played the last two matches against Guinea Bissau. The Moroccan national team will do everything to complete this series of victories in style, assured Adam Massina, a member of the English club Watford.
With three wins in three games (2-0 against Sudan, 5-0 and 3-0 against Guinea Bissau), Morocco is at the top of Group I with 9 points. The Morocco-Guinea match starts this Tuesday at 8 p.m. and will be broadcast on the three SNRT channels: Arryadia, Al Aoula Inter and Tamazight.
