For his match against Guinea, the Bosnian coach opted for a 3-5-2 formation instead of the 4-4-2 proposed against Guinea Bissau. This system allowed striker Ayoub El Kaabi, who started in the absence of the injured Youssef En-Nesyri, to open the scoring in the 21st minute. The young Hatayspor player scored a goal in each match, totaling 4 goals in 4 matches. The second goal was scored by Selim Amellah, who scored a brace in the second half, before Soufiane Boufal, a substitute for Ayoub El Kaabi, scored the fourth goal.
Despite their qualification for the play-offs, the Moroccan team will play two more matches against Sudan and Guinea, counting for the fifth and sixth rounds of the qualifiers. In any case, Morocco already tops Group I with 12 points.
