Casablanca Modernizes Public Transit with Spanish Firm Alsa’s High-Tech Buses

Alsa will soon make its entry into the urban landscape of the economic capital. The Spanish transport company has indeed won the tender for the delegated management of the urban transport service in Casablanca.
After Marrakech, Rabat and Salé, the Spanish group is expanding its network to the Casablanca prefecture, its largest market at the national level. The company owes this success to its long experience in urban transport in Morocco.
The deplorable state of the vehicles in circulation in Casablanca had finally worried the inhabitants who had remained in the dark about the future of the city’s urban transport. The arrival of the Alsa company should bring a breath of fresh air, especially since its fleet is known for its high technology.
In this regard, the company will have to mobilize a significant fleet of buses, the number of which has not been communicated, in order to be able to cover the entire city and its suburbs.
Thanks to the new generation of buses from the transport company, Casablancans will be able to enjoy wireless internet, Wifi, electronic tickets and an adapted access for people with disabilities. It is not yet known whether a price increase is planned or not.
