Casablanca Airport Bans Photography in Restricted Areas, Citing Security Concerns

An internal note was issued on Tuesday, October 1, by the Directorate of Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, prohibiting users from taking photos and videos in the regulated areas.
This note, signed by the Airport Director, is addressed to both travelers and employees and concerns, in addition to the regulated areas, the security areas.
The ban being formal, the Directorate has warned users of the sanctions they face in case of infringement. According to the note, this "will expose offenders to legal proceedings".
The National Airports Office (ONDA) had followed in the footsteps of international airports, by equipping Terminal 1 with an automated system allowing the reading and control of boarding passes through gates.
