Bus Driver Surrenders After Fleeing Fatal Errachidia Bridge Accident
After the accident, the bus driver, faced with the tragedy, fled before surrendering to the health authorities of the Moulay Ali Chérif Regional Hospital, according to the local authorities of the Daraâ-Tafilalet region.
Saved at the last minute from the accident he caused due to his recklessness, the bus driver who fell at the level of the Oued Damchan bridge in the commune of El Khank in the province of Errachidia was unable to provide support to the other victims of this tragedy.
Instead of staying on the scene to support his passengers, he preferred to flee, reports the MAP.
Finally, he surrendered to the Moulay Ali Chérif Regional Hospital where he was placed in a pavilion to receive the necessary care under the surveillance of the security services, before being subjected to a judicial investigation conducted by the competent services under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Considered a missing person, he now increases the number of survivors to the 30 who received the necessary consultations and care at the hospital concerned, adds the same source.
