Death Toll Rises to 18 in Errachidia Bus Tragedy as Search Continues

The toll from the accident that occurred on Sunday, September 8 in the province of Errachidia continues to increase. The body of a missing woman following the overturning of the bus was found on Tuesday, September 10 in the afternoon. The toll now stands at 18 dead.
While the previous toll reported 6 deaths in this tragedy that occurred at the level of the Damchan wadi bridge in the commune of El Khank, the search operations have so far allowed the discovery of 12 bodies of missing passengers from the bus.
At the time of the tragedy, the bus was on the route between Casablanca and Rissani. Among the recovered bodies, that of a woman. All the services concerned remain mobilized to find any possible missing persons.
After fleeing for a time, the bus driver finally surrendered to the police to be questioned about the exact reasons for this accident.
