British Tourist Arrested in Morocco for Filming Police Checkpoints

A British tourist was arrested after filming elements of the Moroccan gendarmerie in the exercise of their duties.
Accompanied by a lady, a tourist who would be of British origin is suspected of having filmed elements of the royal gendarmerie at several checkpoints in different regions on national territory. He is said to have posted a video showing his arrest by the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie due to an offense.
It is blamed on the tourist to have in his possession a camera that recorded everything that was happening between the gendarmes and him during his arrest. According to the video, one of the gendarmes opposed the use of the camera by the tourist to film his colleagues.
