Brighton Targets Marseille’s Azzedine Ounahi in Potential Premier League Move

OM is working on the departure of Moroccan international Azzedine Ounahi, currently in great form, whom they loaned to Greek club Panathinaikos and hope to make a big deal similar to Luis Henrique’s transfer. An English club has already shown interest.
After the departure of Brazilian international Luis Henrique, sold to Inter for 25 million euros, Pablo Longoria is focusing on the sale of Azzedine Ounahi. He is counting on the departure of the Moroccan international to make a good sale in the coming days. And, an English club is already showing interest in the Moroccan international. A total agreement has been reached between Brighton and the 25-year-old player for a four-year contract, reveals Foot Mercato, adding that Pablo Longoria and Medhi Benatia are only asking for 11 million euros for the transfer of the former Angers player this summer. An amount almost similar to the sum invested by OM to recruit him from Angers two and a half years ago.
Roberto De Zerbi’s former club is attracted by the performances of the player who was voted player of the year by Greek fans. For Brighton, the former Angers midfielder could, "in the Premier League, regain the excellent level of play that was his during the 2022 World Cup with Morocco."
