New Bridge to Ease Traffic on Rabat-Casablanca Highway

To improve traffic flow and reduce congestion, the construction of a 50 million DH bridge is planned at the Témara / Rabat-Casablanca highway level.
According to the Minister of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water, Abdelkader Amara, this project aims to improve and streamline traffic on the Témara and Harhoura highway, while offering users better quality of service.
The minister, who came to check on the progress of the work, noted the importance of this project in view of the scale of the traffic on this highway, indicating that the project, which started in September 2019, will be completed in June 2020.
In addition, the director of the Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM) development project, Mohammed Karim Al Imam, added that this project will facilitate access to the highway and reduce traffic between Harhoura and Témara.
According to the director, the construction of this infrastructure is part of a global project, which also plans the construction of a second bridge to relieve traffic in the city and provide access to the highway.
