Major Highway Upgrades to Cause Delays Between Marrakech and Casablanca

The National Motorway Company of Morocco (ADM) informs users that, from September 23 to 30, 2020, the Berrechid-Est interchange will undergo upgrading and redevelopment work. This work will result in temporary traffic disruptions.
The necessary safety devices and signage have been installed in the appropriate places to facilitate the circulation of customer-users. ADM apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this work.
"This work will result in temporary traffic disruption on the entry ramps towards Casablanca and Marrakech and the exit ramp for customers coming from Casablanca and heading to Berrechid or Khouribga, from 23 to 30/09/2020," the company said, assuring that the work will have no impact on the flow of traffic coming from Marrakech or Settat and heading to Berrechid or Khouribga.
For those wishing to access the highway from this interchange and heading to Casablanca, they are asked to continue their journey through the town of Berrechid to access the highway via the Berrechid Nord interchange. Similarly, customer-users wishing to access the highway from this interchange and heading to Marrakech are invited to take the RN 9 to access the highway through the Settat Nord interchange.
ADM also specifies that customer-users coming from Casablanca and heading to Berrechid will have to exit the highway at the Berrechid Nord interchange, and those heading to Khouribga, to continue their journey via the Berrechid-Beni Mellal highway.
This work is part of ADM’s infrastructure maintenance and repair operations.
