Brazilian Smuggler Caught with Nearly 1 kg of Cocaine in Intestines at Casablanca Airport

Some 980 grams of cocaine packaged in 81 capsules were extracted from the intestines of a national arrested two weeks ago at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca.
Aged 22, the suspect was apprehended on January 14 upon arrival on a flight from Sao Paulo, Brazil, according to the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN), which specifies that the young man was then to take a flight to Paris.
Suspected of drug trafficking, he had been placed under medical supervision at the Ibn Rochd University Hospital in Casablanca and then taken into custody after the stabilization of his health condition.
