Brazilian Couple Arrested at Casablanca Airport with 2 kg of Cocaine in Stomach

More than 2 kg (2,120 g exactly) of cocaine were extracted from the intestines of the young Brazilian couple arrested on September 19, 2019 at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, according to a statement from the Airport Security District.
A twist in the case of the Brazilian couple intercepted at Casablanca Airport. Following the arrest of the two individuals, they had indeed been placed under medical supervision at the Ibn Rochd University Hospital for the extraction of capsules from their intestines, reports the MAP.
This operation having proved fruitful, a quantity of 2.120 kg of cocaine, packaged in the form of 151 capsules, was recovered and confiscated by the security services of Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca.
According to the same source, the two accused were then immediately taken into custody and made available for the investigation to determine the ins and outs of this case.
