Brazilian Couple Arrested at Marrakech Airport for Smuggling 1.2 kg of Cocaine Internally

Two Brazilian nationals, aged 26 and 29, were arrested on Sunday at the Marrakech-Menara International Airport for their alleged involvement in international cocaine trafficking.
According to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the airport police arrested the couple upon their arrival on a flight from a European airport.
During a thorough check, the presence of cocaine in the intestines of the two suspects was detected. A quantity of 1,260 grams of cocaine, packaged in 100 capsules, was extracted from their intestines. The two accused have been taken into custody for questioning by the investigators.
The Brazilian couple, suspected of being involved in this international drug trafficking operation, is currently in custody for questioning by the investigators. The Moroccan authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the ins and outs of this case and uncover any possible national or international ramifications.
