Body of Moroccan Man with False Identities Found on Spanish Beach

After the various checks carried out by the Judicial Police, it appeared that the body found on the beach of Chorrillo in Ceuta last Saturday is that of a Moroccan. He would be well acquainted with Spain, having already visited it several times, but under false identities.
The young man’s body was found on Saturday morning on the Chorillo beach, while he was wearing shorts and had no identity documents.
This lack of information delayed his identification and left room for speculation. It was later that the Judicial Police of the Armed Institute managed to identify him.
According to the national police and the Civil Guard, it is a Moroccan who has been registered in their databases.
He would even have been intercepted several times and would have used different identities. However, even if the police were able to establish his real identity, it was difficult to see the reasons for this drowning.
According to El faro de Ceuta, two hypotheses are possible: either this thirty-year-old came to swim and drowned, or it is an attempt at illegal immigration.
The same source states that on this coast of Ceuta, it is generally migrants who perish, trying to travel on board precarious ships or swim to reach the peninsula.
It should be noted that the discovery of the lifeless body of this Moroccan adds to the number of people who have died in Ceuta since the beginning of this year.
